Dear Families,
I am so very excited to be able to get to know you and your child this year. Being a Kindergarten Teacher is my dream job and I am blessed to be able to work with such wonderful children and families. There truly is no place I would rather be.
I have been teaching for 21 years, 19 of those in Kinder and 14 of those at Mary Moore. I attended Texas Tech University (Wreck'em Tech) and received a BS in Human Development as well as a BS in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood. I was blessed to learn from some amazing teachers as they mentored me throughout the years but the most influential in my life was/is my mom. She taught Kindergarten for 25 years and was truly an amazing teacher. My dad was a mentor in other areas of my life and influenced my love of our country as he served in the Air Force for 22 years.
Outside of the classroom, I spend as much time with my friends and family as I can. I enjoy serving in several ways at Lake Arlington Baptist Church. As you may have gathered, I am a huge fan of Texas Tech Sports. I also love cheering on the Rangers, Cowboys, Stars and Mavs. I love football and baseball but I never turn down a chance to enjoy any sporting event.
Spending my days with your children is truly a privilege and I value my relationship with them as well as my relationship with you. I look forward to getting to know your child and you this school year.
